Michael Kleff

Nora Guthrie has built an extraordinary life of her own — as a curator, producer, and creative force — while carrying forward the legacy of her father, the legendary Woody Guthrie. She is the youngest child of Woody & Marjorie Guthrie, is President Emeritus of Woody Guthrie Publications, Inc. She served as president of the Woody Guthrie Foundation for over 30 years, founded the Woody Guthrie Archive in 1992, and co-founded the Woody Guthrie Center in Tulsa.
A curator, producer, and creative force, she has brought hundreds of Woody’s unheard lyrics to life through GRAMMY Award-winning albums, exhibitions, and events that have reached audiences worldwide.
The Guthrie tradition is a family journey: her brother Arlo Guthrie, a voice of the Woodstock era, and her son Cole Quest Rotante have walked in Woody’s footsteps.
And with her daughter Anna Canoni stepping forward, the next generation continues to carry that song into the future. woodyguthrie.org
